Pre-Independent Living (Pre-IL)
Community-based congregate care setting providing individualized support for youth addressing all aspects of life skills development for a successful transition to independent living.
Community and home-based support services designed to prevent the need for out-of-home placement and/or to provide focused aftercare support to children and their families following transition to home upon discharge from a treatment environment.
Comprehensive Support & Stabilization
Intensive community and home-based support services for youth and families involved with Massachusetts state agencies, including respite care as needed, with the goal of maintaining family stability and permanence through diversion services or after care following out-of-home placement.
Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative
In-home and community-based treatment services for clients under the age of 21 with serious emotional disorders as part of the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI), reducing the need for out-of-home placement. Services include In-Home Therapy delivered by a master’s level clinician and members of Saint Vincent’s support team, within the home or other natural setting through a contract with Massachusetts managed care entities. Therapeutic Mentoring is also available for youth requiring one-to-one coaching, training, and support from a highly trained Therapeutic Mentor also through a contract with Massachusetts insurers and managed care entities.
Mental Health Clinic
Outpatient mental health services including diagnostic assessment; individual, family, and group counseling; psychiatric services, including psychopharmacology, also available within home and school-based settings when clinically appropriate.
Life Skills Program
A comprehensive array of strength-based vocational and life skills services for youth ages 14 to 21 delivered as an integrated component within our residential and community-based programs.
Pastoral Care staff provides a focused opportunity for clients to explore age-appropriate spiritual development through conversation, support and prayer at the discretion of the client. The integration of Spiritual Development occurs with other components of care as the holistic development and well-being of each client is explored.
