Saint Vincent’s Day  School Closing

Saint Vincent’s had provided special education from Kindergarten through High School for many decades with an average student enrollment, in the past, of 120 students per day.  In recent years, however, we discontinued our elementary grades due to sustained reductions in enrollment.  More recently, we discontinued our middle school classroom as a result of similar enrollment issues.  With the addition of increased capacity within the Fall River Public Schools, as well as other school districts in the Southeast Region, for in-district high school students for the 2017-2018 academic year, Saint Vincent’s student enrollment at the High School level has again been impacted.  It has now become necessary, due to the sustained reduction in student enrollment, for us to make the difficult decision to close both our residential and day school programs.  <MORE>
